About The Author

Dr. Durell Dobbins, president of Beginnings Publishing House, holds B.S. degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Alabama, an M.S. in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Ph.D. in Microbial Ecology from the School of Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has published many scientific research articles in respected journals, as well as a well-publicized critical review in his area of expertise. He is presently the President of BioTrol, a high-technology company that uses biotechnology to clean up toxic chemicals in our water. He is also founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bio Enterprises, Inc., a company that develops products for the biotechnological, medical and pharmaceutical industries.

Durell has been a Christian for over twenty-five years, and has five children of his own--all home schooled. He has taught kids about Christian perspectives of modern theories, and has taught children's Bible classes since he was 16 years old. He speaks authoritatively on sensitive subjects where science meets the Faith.
